Step 1. Using your height or back length measurement, choose the pack that best fits your body.
Step 2. Inflate or deflate (unplug nozzle and squeeze) the lumbar cushion as needed for comfort.
Step 3. Load the pack (the heaviest items toward the back) being careful not to exceed the recommended pack weight for your size (see chart below).
Step 4. Cinch the side straps to bring the load closer to your center of gravity.
Step 5. Adjust the shoulder straps at the top so that the lumbar cushion rests at the small of your back. Try a few different adjustments until you find the optimal positioning.
Step 6. If the shoulder straps pinch under your arms, release the clasps at the bottom of the straps, then readjust the clasps at the top of the straps to reposition the lumbar cushion at the small of your back. Inflate or deflate the lumbar cushion as needed for support and comfort.
